Vice President of Aviation/Aerospace Claims FILLED
Aerospace and aviation insurance division of a Fortune 500 insurance holding company is seeking a leader for its niche aviation claims department. Based in the Southeast U.S., this position offers full relocation expense assistance, performance bonus, and a generous base salary of up to $180K USD to start, with further potential.

Niche aviation underwriter with approximately $100 million airport/aircraft underwriting premium portfolio.
Company focuses on private, charter, regional aircraft, airports, hull damage, control tower, and general airport and drone liability.
Culture consists of a team collaborative approach and supervises current department of 4 claims adjusters
About the Position
This position will be responsible for managing the current claims adjuster team. Dealing with external legal and technical consultants and panel attorneys as necessary. Negotiates settlements and resolution of both routine and complex claims while working with underwriting, actuarial and other departments as is necessary
Required for Consideration
- Minimum of 10 years aerospace, aircraft and/or aviation claims experience whether with an insurance carrier or law firm.
- Bachelors minimum, CPCU, ARM, CAIP and/or JD preferred
- Adjuster’s license in any state combination
