What is Required
- BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar
- High GPA demonstrated your commitment and focus on achieving goals (3.0 GPA or higher a must)
- Internships/Co-op or summer/off season work experience with insurance, banking or finance in that order of preference
- In substitution of insurance internships — 1to 3 years of related business experience will be considered in the fields of:
o Analysis
o Finance
o Banking
o Other similar experience
- Education from a good quality collegiate institution or university
- A desire to learn large commercial property and casualty risk assessment and underwriting
What is Offered
- Rotation throughout key departments during first year providing hands on experience in actuarial, statistical, accounting, information technology and more. You will learn the business model from inside out
- Opportunity to learn both property and casualty sides of underwriting and risk assessment
- A position as a full-fledged underwriter with authority and decision making responsibility after training rotation is complete (time varies depending on individuals)
